Hi, I'm Joanna
I’m a friendly Scottish lass with a camera in hand and a big love for capturing life’s magic. Whether it’s a baby grinning up at their mum, your cat giving you those classic “feed me immediately” eyes, or a dad completely smitten with his brand‑new bub — those are the moments that make my heart sing.
I originally studied Television Production (with plenty of photography thrown in), then wandered through the worlds of TV and politics before finding my way back to my true happy place: behind the lens.
When I’m not snapping away, you’ll find me in Melbourne’s east with my partner and our beloved fur baby. I dabble in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (emphasis on dabble), and I’m on a never‑ending quest to try every great coffee spot this city has to offer.

What services do you offer?
I specialize in family and pet portraits BUT I am always down to try something new. If you like my work but have something different in mind, get in touch!
Do you come to us?
I do! I think photos are best in an environment you are familiar with. A travel charge may incur if you are outside Melbourne, but I will discuss that upfront.
Do you work with small businesses?
Yes, I offer photo shoots for small businesses. Photos can be tailored for social media or web content. I want to support local businesses to thrive. I am happy to work within a budget that suits the business.
How can I book a session?

Do you do weddings?
I don't! It's not something I offer at the moment. Though if its mini shoot you are after I could be up for it.....get in touch!
What happens after the shoot?
Your photos will be delivered to you within 7 days digitally. Perfect format for printing or using online.
Generally 6-14 days old for a newborn due to being a snuggle bug. After that I'd recommend between 6-10 months old.
What's the best age for baby shoots?
Do you do prints?
All your digital files are high quality and print ready. While I don't do printing I can offer advice on great printing labs!
What if my kids won’t cooperate?
That’s completely okay. I expect it — and work around it. Some of the best images come from movement and play.
Can by dog be kept on it's leash?
Yes! I can edit them out.
My dog is reactive, can we still do photos?
Yes! I will work with you to keep your dog and others safe. I do not need to touch the dog and I can be spaced further back to give it space.
